The Afro-Bata Story

Afro-Bata was born in 2020 from a single belief: that Nigerian hands could produce footwear worthy of the global stage. Founded in Lagos, we set out to prove that luxury does not have an imported address.

Every shoe we produce is made entirely by hand — from the cutting of the leather to the final polish. We work with master cobblers trained over decades, using only premium full-grain leathers, genuine suedes, and solid rubber soles built to outlast fashion trends.

We do not manufacture in bulk. We craft in pairs. Each order receives a dedicated artisan who signs their work with pride. This is not just footwear — it is wearable heritage.
